Description
Lenox is an American 100% cotton paper that is dimensionally stable and has a good absorbency. It is able to withstand bold impressions as well as delicate details. It is off-white in color and has a supple feel equivalent to high quality mould-made European papers. The subtly textured paper is acid free, pH neutral and designed to be used with graphite, pencil, pastel and charcoal. Lenox was the first domestic 100% cotton paper in America to be designed for fine art applications. The founder of Legion, Len Levine, manufactured this paper to have a machine made grade paper which had unique attributes and the potential to be used as a substrate for a variety of media. This is a sample of a Lenox 250gsm sheet measuring 9.5 x 6.3cm.
