Description
Hanco Archival Lithography Inks are produced for the discerning printmaker who wishes to create lasting impressions and fine works of art. Skilled craftsmen combine only the finest materials to produce these highly specialized inks. Pigments are carefully chosen for their fade resistance, rich color and excellent lithographic properties, and are finely ground on hardened steel mill rollers to produce these high-performance printing inks. These inks contain no driers and if required, can be fine-tuned with Hanco’s range of bespoke ink modifiers. Lightfastness for all inks labelled ‘archival’, measures between 6.5 and 8 BWS, and for all other inks lightfastness measures between 5 and 6 BWS. Hanco Printmaking Inks are recognized as a leading global brand with a distinguished pedigree in manufacturing. Taking its specialized knowledge and state-of-the-art equipment, Hanco widened its range to incorporate etching and relief inks that sit alongside a selection of bespoke ink modifiers. In consultation with major research institutions and art schools, Hanco have fine-tuned their inks to give the highest possible performance. Their ink formulations are entirely vegetable-based, giving the environmentally conscious printmaker the opportunity to minimize their impact on the environment while still producing high quality prints.
