Description
QoR Watercolor Grounds offer artists the ability to transform a wide range of surfaces into absorbent, paintable grounds for watercolor. The QoR Cold Press Ground creates a textured surface that mimics cold press or handmade paper, ideal for dry brush techniques, while the standard QoR Watercolor Ground provides a smooth, bright white finish similar to hot press paper. Both are flexible and suitable for custom panels or canvases, with a recommended drying time of 24 hours before painting. The QoR Watercolor Ground can also be used as a correcting fluid to restore whiteness to stained areas of watercolor paper. QoR Light Dimensional Ground is a white, icing-like paste that can be applied in thin or thick layers to create texture and dimension. Its extremely absorbent surface spreads washes quickly, yet holds fine lines and details with ease. Artists can achieve blooms and modeled effects by dropping color into lightly wetted areas, making it perfect for adding dynamic texture and visual interest to watercolor work.
