(https://www.jacksonsart.com/brands/speed-ball/speed-ball-speedy-carve-blocks/speedball-speedy-carve-block) Developed for relief printing, this softer 40 shore synthetic rubber roller is resistant to printers chemicals and not affected by exposure to daylight. Designed to give a more compliant coverage than hard rubber material, it is more forgiving on uneven surfaces. It is a favourite with certain printing methods but needs extra care in storage to prevent indentation to its soft surface.
