Derwent Inktense Pencils have a highly blendable texture and come in a range of 100 jewel-like colours. They are pigmented, intensely vibrant, watercolour pencils that are permanent once fully dry. Apply pure, vibrant dry colour then apply washes to create stunning ink-like effects. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media. Inktense pencils can be used on more than just paper - due to the staining power of the pigments, you can use them on many porous surfaces including canvas, ceramic, wood, and fabric. A non-soluble outliner is included in the range which allows you to draw outlines that are permanent, even when water is applied.
