Piemontite Genuine is a deep amethyst color in masstone and is produced from piemontite found in the hills of Italy. When mixed with water a carmine tone with violet-brown granulation is produced.  This product is perfect for adding interest to shadows or painting the mottled surfaces of autumn leaves.
