Crescent Student Grade Illustration Board is an economical board, available in Cold Press (NOT) and Hot Press. The Hot Press smooth surface is suited to a wide range of techniques including pen, pencil and ink. The difference between the Professional grade illustration board and the student grade illustration board: Primarily the Professional Boards are thicker and constructed of a higher quality surface paper – 100% cotton fibre acid-free. They are more warp resistant and can accept more aggressive wash applications than the student boards.
