Description

This is a cool toned, blue black ink that is semi opaque. It contains genuine Lamp Black pigment (PBk6)and has a medium viscosity and a medium tack. It has a soft feel and wipes as easily on cold or hot plates making it well suited to dry point. Lamp Black leaves a typical ‘plate tone’ that many people find pleasing and can be easily wiped to bring out highlights. Cranfield Traditional Etching Inks are handcrafted, highly pigmented and include a vast range of colors giving the printmaker a wide choice whether they want to mix their own colors or not.
