Clairefontaine PaintOn Pads are filled with 250gsm 100% cellulose paper made from raw materials from sustainably managed forests. Excellent for acrylic painting, gouache, ink, dry or oil pastels, collages, and dry techniques. Clairefontaine PaintOn Multi-Technique Pads are acid-free and PEFC Certified. Available in a range of sizes and colours. Clairefontaine actively participates in the development of French forests, by managing several hundred hectares of fir and spruce trees in the Vosges mountains. With regards to the paper mill itself in the Etival Clairefontaine region, it is still as dynamic 150 years after its conception. Self-sufficient for 80% of its own biological installations for water treatment, and has been awarded a 'Water trophy' by the State. This is an A3 pad of PaintOn paper in assorted colours.
