Clairefontaine Carb’ON Multi Techniques Pad contains 20 sheets of black paper with a fine grain. The 120gsm paper is suitable for drawing in pencil, pastel, chalk, and pigment marker, and is ideal for highlights with white gouache or ink. This acid-free paper is resistant to light, and the pad is glue bound at the top so the sheets are easy to remove. Clairefontaine actively participates in the development of French forests, by managing several hundred hectares of fir and spruce trees in the Vosges mountains. With regards to the paper mill itself in the Etival Clairefontaine region, it is still as dynamic 150 years after its conception. Self-sufficient for 80% of its own biological installations for water treatment, and has been awarded a 'Water trophy' by the State. This is an A3 pad containing 20 sheets.
