Made by hand in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigment, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil, and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet. Colors included: Gold Ochre (PY43), Rosso Ercolano (PR102, PR101), Burnt Umber, Dark (PBr7), Sap Green (PY83, PG36, PV19, PR101), Transparent Cerulean (PB15:3) and Dioxazine Violet (PV37).
